Preserving Legacies in the NYC Region

Recently we had the opportunity to connect  with Joy Glidden, founder of the Center for the Preservation of Artists’ Legacies (CPAL). CPAL is an up and coming organization in New York with a focus on seeking out important artists and helping to preserve their contributions to the artist story of the region.

CPAL plans to help ‘sunset’ the works of visual artists by cataloging and preserving collections and assisting with legal and other concerns.  In addition, CPAL intends to be a resource for others who are looking to preserve legacies, and will be hosting a conference in June to raise awareness around the need for preservation, as well as highlight resources and opportunities in this arena.

All good wishes to the CPAL team, and we look forward to learning from you!
