Ken Kendrick | Wild at Heart

Ken Kendrick (1949-1992) was an acclaimed graphic designer whose hand and eye would shape major public health campaigns, corporate brands and design, journalism and photojournalism, and public understanding of many of the key issues of his times. Notwithstanding his sterling accomplishments - including art direction and leadership at several major publications including art director of The New York Times, designing the logo and poster for Nancy Reagan's "Just Say No" public service campaign against drug abuse - and wide recognition through awards, Ken had a whimsical side to his work as well.

This charming series of line art compositions are a reflection of Ken Kendrick's playful and amorous nature. He uses simple line drawings and imaginative variations to convey the sweet vagaries of the heart.
