Nancy Webb | Bronze and Bone

Nancy Webb (1926-2012) was a multifaceted artist, best known for paintings, book illustrations, printmaking, sculpting and in her later life, for creating large sculptures. Yet here, we see a collection of her smallest subjects - ants, grasshoppers, butterflies, alewife and more creatures - both odd and mundane - in a series of exquisitely etched and marked castings in bronze, bone, plaster and resin.
